A man wanted in connection to a home invasion, kidnapping, and sexual assault on Saturday morning is on the loose and police are asking for the public's help in finding him.

The Watertown Police Department has an active arrest warrant for 41-year-old Urim Asani, who has no known address.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. on Saturday in the Oakville section of Watertown, police said. The victim of the incident was known to Asani and was specifically targeted, according to police.

Asani is also wanted on charges of strangulation or suffocation in the second degree, unlawful restraint in the first degree and threatening in the second degree

Asani is believed to be driving a 2003 black Lexus E300 sedan with Ct Reg. 4AVJA7.

Asani has made comments about harming himself and at this point he is believed to be suicidal, according to police.

Anyone with information on the current location of Asani is asked to call 911.

Anyone with information can also call the Watertown Police Department at 860-945-5200 or Crimestoppers at 860-945-9940 for an anonymous cash reward.

"We are asking for information only," police said. "Please do not contact Asani as he is considered dangerous."

Because the assault was targeted, police said they do not think that there is a threat to the public of another incident like this.
