Thieves Continue To Steal From Unlocked Vehicles, Wilton Police Warn

WILTON, Conn. — A short 20-minute timespan was all a thief needed to steal a pair of women's wallets and $500 from an unlocked vehicle parked at 5 River Road in Wilton on Dec. 21, police said.

The two wallets, which contained a total of three credit cards along with a copy of a Social Security card, were stolen sometime between 5:30 and 5:50 p.m., police said. 

Several purchases were made the next morning in another town using the stolen credit cards, police said.
