Wilton Police Chief Leaving To Take Top Job In Trumbull

WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton Police Chief Michael Lombardo was named the new police chief of Trumbull during a meeting in Trumbull Town Hall on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Wilton Bulletin.

Lombardo will replace Chief Thomas Kiely on Jan. 1, who is retiring after 40 years with the Trumbull Police Department, the Wilton Bulletin said.

With five years as chief, Lombardo has served on the Wilton force for 33 years, the Wilton Bulletin reported. He lives in Trumbull.
