who arrested the man Saturday.
Alfredo Melendez-Palma, 29, of 45 Palm St., second floor, Bridgeport, was arrested Saturday on a warrant. He was charged with one count each of second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.
Bond was set at $5,000, and he was scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on Tuesday.
The two men were renovating a room at a Tanners Drive residence on Aug. 12 when the dispute occurred, police said. The suspect punched his co-worker, threw broken floor tile at him and then struck him with a metal level, police said.
The suspect then fled the scene, police said.
As officers were processing Melendez-Palma, they discovered there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest on a disorderly conduct charge in Bridgeport.
