The district includes parts of Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport and Wilton.
This will be the fifth term for Boucher.
For the State House, there are two districts in Wilton.
In House District 143, incumbent Republican Gail Lavielle ran unopposed and won. In House District 125, Republican incumbent Tom O'Dea turned back a challenge from Hector L. Lopez of the Green Party.
In local Wilton elections, Carole Young-Kleinfeld, a Democrat, and Annalisa Stravato Favarolo, a Republican, were elected Registrars of Voters.
For the U.S. Senate, Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat, won re-election by topping Republican challenger Dan Carter of Bethel. Carter did not seek re-election to the State House due to his Senate run.
