Police: Break-Ins Reported At Two Wilton Homes

WILTON, Conn. -- Burglars struck at a pair of Wilton homes, including a Drum Hill Road residence that netted three watches, a gold ring and a pair of headphones worth an estimated $25,000, Wilton Police said.

The Drum Hill Road break-in occurred sometime between July 24 and Aug. 4, when the burglary was reported, police said. 

In the second burglary, a home on Danbury Road that was broken into sometime between Wednesday, Aug. 5, and Friday, Aug. 7, police said.

When one of the owners returned to the home Friday afternoon, she discovered there were several open doors, out-of-place furniture and a damaged basement wall. A computer bag, a straw purse, at least three clutch bags, a wooden box and two velvet bags were reported missing, police said.

Police didn’t have a value for the stolen items.
