Friday Fun Flick: 3:30 p.m. Kids can come and watch “Frankenweenie” at the library. The movie is about a young boy who brings his dog back to life. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.

Saturday, May 25

Night of the Horseshoe Crab: 10:30 p.m. Come to this quiet vigil at the salt marsh to watch horseshoe crabs lay their eggs along the shoreline. Meet at the visitors center. Marshlands Conservancy, 220 Boston Post Road.

Sunday, May 26

Rye’s Down to Earth Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Down to Earth opens its Rye farmers market for its tenth season. Stop by to pick up fresh fruit, vegetables and other items from local farmers and vendors. Parking lot on Theodore Fremd Avenue, behind the Purchase Street stores.
