Two Poughkeepsie Streets Closed For Road Work

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - A pair of roadways in Poughkeepsie will be closed beginning on Friday as Department of Public Works crews complete construction work.

Beginning on Friday, April 7, DPW officials announced that Bement Avenue, between Winnikee Avenue and Harrison Street will be closed, as will Harrison Street, between Grant Street and North White Street at Winnikee Avenue.

Officials said that work zones have been put in place and emergency vehicles will help assist at the scene if necessary.
