Bids Coming In Under Budget For Wilton's Miller-Driscoll School Renovation

WILTON, Conn. – The committee overseeing the renovations of Wilton's Miller-Driscoll School said the project could cost significantly less than expected, the Wilton Bulletin reported.

The cost was originally set at $50 million, the Bulletin said. But with savings, items coming under budget and state reimbursements, the revised estimate came to a total of $38 million, the Wilton Bulletin reported.

The bid contracts now go to First Selectman Bill Brennan and the rest of the board, the Bulletin said.
