Wilton Schools Begin Registering New Students For Fall

WILTON, Conn. -- With students due to go back to school on Monday, Aug. 25, the Wilton School District will begin registering new students.

Here are the dates and times for registration: 

Monday, Aug. 11: 

  • Middlebrook School: grades 6-8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • Wilton High School: grade 12, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
  • Wilton High School: grade 11, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Tuesday, Aug. 12:

  • Middlebrook School: grades 6-8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • Wilton High School grade 10, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
  • Wilton High School: grade 9, form 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Also on Aug. 12, Miller-Driscoll School will host a scavenger hunt and self-guided tour for all kindergartners and new first- and second-grade students. 

New teacher orientation is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18.

Tuesday, Aug. 19 is the start date for K-8 teachers, and Wednesday, Aug. 20, is the first day for high school teachers. 

On Thursday, Aug. 21, the following special events will be held: 

  • Kindergarten - Meet The Teacher at Miller-Driscoll, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
  • Grades 1 & 2 - Meet The Teacher at Miller-Driscoll, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
  • Grades 3-5 (Cannondale & Kent) at Cider Mill, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
  • Middlebrook New Parent Coffee form 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
  • Grades 7 & 8 - Meet The Teacher at Middlebrook from 11 a.m. to noon 
  • Grades 3-5 (Belden Hill & Nod HIll) - Meet The Teacher at Cider Mill from noon to 1 p.m. 
  • Grade 6 - Meet The Teacher at Middlebrook from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. 

All students will report for the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 25.
