5 Wilton Wahoo Swimmers Qualify For National Championhips

WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Wahoos finished third in the men’s scoring and fifth overall at the recent Capital Classic swim meet in Raleigh, N.C.

The 32-member Wahoos squad, from the club' National, Senior and Junior teams, competed against 26 other squads from the Eastern seaboard.

Five swimmers qualified for the YMCA National Swimming Championships in April. Wilton’s Emma Holmquist, Ridgefield’s Jack Lynch, Connor Rainey of Westport, Norwalk’s Ky-lee Perry and Stamford’s Samantha Cheruk qualified for the national meet.
