WILTON, Conn. – The Lake Club of Wilton finished in a solid fourth place at this past weekend's Fairfield County Swim League Championships, with several swimmers winning individual races. Lake Club finished with 554 team points.

The day's events started off strong with a Lake Club victory in the boys 200-meter medley relay. The team of Nate Snyder, Jack Lewis, Thomas Dunstan and Ned Thunem blew away the competition by almost three seconds with a time of 2:09.80.

Rocky Point Swim and Tennis Club of Greenwich and meet host Roxbury Club of Stamford soon pulled away from the field. Rocky Point went on to dethrone 19-time champion Roxbury with a score of 1,106.5 points.

The Lake Club collected four wins in individual categories to secure its fourth-place finish.

In another thrilling finish, Lewis took the boys 12-and-under 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 37.66 seconds. Lewis edged his competition by only .13 seconds.

Rounding out the Lake Club's winners, Sophie Sudano took the top spot in the girls 10-and-under 25-meter backstroke with a time of 17.47 seconds.

Some notable second-place finishes for the Lake Club included Thunem (boys 17-and-under 50-meter breaststroke, 30.45), Caroline Sweeney (girls 12-and-under 50-meter freestyle, 30.48) and Erin Dunstan (girls 17-and-under 50-meter breaststroke, 36.21).
