The new restaurant will open in the space formerly occupied by Soup Alley at 239 Danbury Road, not far from Wilton Town Hall. Naked Greens offers a wide selection of chef-designed and made-to-order salads and wraps, as well as homemade gourmet soups using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Breakfast options will be added to the menu this spring, along with expanded morning hours to accommodate commuters.

Wilton resident Victor Melendez purchased the former Soup Alley in late 2011, and transformed it into Naked Greens. The first location was opened last February in South Norwalk. Melendez said that his restaurant concept offering has been a success in South Norwalk.

“We’ve received rave reviews and encouragement from our Wilton customers to open a Wilton location,” Melendez said. “We’re thrilled to be starting the new year by bringing this concept back to Wilton with an expanded menu that includes 12 delicious soups per day, all-natural fruit smoothies, raw veggie juices, not to mention a delicious grilled cheese bar where customers can create their own grilled cheese, the perfect complement to a bowl of hot soup,”

The Wilton location will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. In early spring, Naked Greens will also open for breakfast and enhance its offerings with healthy morning options featuring fruit and yogurt, smoothies, healthy cereal bars, and more.
