Newfield will be the resident in the firm's New Haven office, representing clients based in Stamford and White Plains, N.Y.
She now joins Murtha Cullina’s Trusts and Estates Department, focusing on personal estate planning for individuals, gift planning for nonprofit institutions, and giving for nonprofit institutions and philanthropists.
Newfield’s areas of expertise include estate, gift and tax planning, estate and trust administration and elder law.
She can legally practice in Connecticut and New York, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section and Trusts and Estates Law Section.
Newfield received her bachelor's degree from George Washington University and her law degree from the University of Michigan.
