Gardening consultants will be on hand to answer questions or help choose just the right plants. Credit cards will be accepted. The plant sale will include:
- Perennials and wildflowers
- Ornamental grasses and groundcovers
- Organically grown herbs and herb containers
- Organically grown vegetables and “Offinger” tomato plants
- Native plants, trees and flowering shrubs
- Award-winning dahlias
- Hanging flower baskets and patio planters
- Troughs and glass terrariums
- Mother’s Day baskets
The Wilton Garden Club also is hosting a greenhouse pre-sale from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in its Greenhouse at Comstock Community Center, 180 School Road, Wilton. The public is welcome to get first choice and deals before everything goes to the Town Green for the annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale.
Proceeds from the sale are used to support the Wilton Garden Club's educational and horticultural endeavors, projects for civic beauty and local philanthropic contributions.
