Phil Vassar Brings Country Songs To Ridgefield Playhouse In January

Vassar, whose songs include “Carlene,” “In A Real Love,” and “Just Another Day in Paradise” is set to perform on Jan. 10 at The Ridgefield Playhouse. The show begins at 8 p.m.

The event is part of the Doyle Coffin Architecture Singer/Songwriter and Xfinity Rock Series with media sponsor KICKS 105.5fm.

"With irresistible hooks and equally good looks, Phil Vassar’s piano-based brand of country music is infused with a feel-good, R&B groove," Ridgefield Playhouse representatives said.

"This multi-talented singer/songwriter/pianist has received awards from the Academy of Country Music, Billboard, MusicRow and CMA and was ASCAP’s two-time Songwriter of the Year. New artist David Nail had a hit with Vassar’s 'The Sound of a Million Dreams,' which Billboard named the No. 1 song in their Top 10 Country Songs of 2012."
