Friday Fiber Fridays at Wilton Historical Society: 10 a.m. to noon. Come to stitch and chat about your handiwork, ask questions, share stories and anything that comes to mind. All are welcome. Come and discover more about the Wilton Historical Society's Fiber Arts while working on your own fiber projects. Knitting, stitching, hooking, crocheting, weaving projects are welcome. Coffee and tea will be served. Host Arlene Parkhurst will be available to untangle your questions. Admission is free for society members and $10 for non-members. Clamage, Michaels and Meagher Art Exhibition Reception at Wilton Library: 6-7:30 p.m. Toby Michaels, Phyllis Clamage and Sandra Meagher showcase their diverse talents in this three-person show. Michaels uses circles and triangular forms to depict imaginary cosmic phenomena. Sandra Meagher depends on lines to create semi abstractions in charcoal. Phyllis Clamage emphasizes the clarity and richness of colors in images based on the Earth’s natural formations. The exhibition continues through Jan. 29. A majority of the works will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Saturday Great Trains Holiday Exhibit at Wilton Historical Society: Noon to 4 p.m. The Wilton Historical Society will have its Great Trains holiday exhibit. Come and see a variety of trains. The final day of the exhibit is Jan. 23. Tickets are free for historical society members and $10 for non-members. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road.
Sunday Stay at Home Concert at Wilton Library: 2-3:30 p.m. Stay at Home in Wilton and Wilton Library are proud to present ‘The Great American Songbook’ with Dr. Joe Utterback. Utterback is a pianist, storyteller, composer and recording artist. Performing at music festivals across the country or at Tony Award dinners in New York City, his high-energy jazz piano delights audiences of all ages. He infuses familiar blues, ballads, Broadway and jazz classics with a captivating, dynamic style. He performs hits from the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s. Join us for an afternoon of fun and stay for the reception. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
