What To Do In Wilton This Weekend

Friday, Feb. 15

The Lounge at Wilton Library: 3:30 p.m. Children in grades one and up are invited to play video games on the Wilton Library’s Nintendo Wii system from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Comfortable seating will be available. Caregivers must remain in the building for children under age 12. The room will be open every Friday as long as there is available staff. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Saturday, Feb. 16

Minecraft Club at Wilton Library: 10 a.m. to noon.  Minecraft is an online computer game unlike any other. It is very creative. Worlds made out of individual blocks are generated. In these unique worlds players can build anything, mine anything, create anything and interact with other players. The only limit is your imagination. A server for the Wilton Library has been set up with a virtual world where the Minecraft community in Wilton can meet. Minecraft enthusiasts are welcome to join the Minecraft Computer Club on Saturday mornings to discuss and play everything Minecraft in the Children’s Library. The program is for children ages 8 and up. Wilton Public Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Sunday, Feb. 17

Silvermine Art Center New Members Exhibition: Noon: This is the last day of the New Members exhibit. Each year in the spring and fall, artists are selected, through a jurying process, to become new members of the Silvermine Guild of Artists, a distinguished group of more than 300 professional artists who work in an array of media and are represented in museums and private and corporate collections. 1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan.
