To the Editor,

There simply aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to all who helped make the Riverbrook Regional YMCA’s 30th Annual Golf Classic a success. The weather was fantastic as golfers gathered at prestigious Woodway Country Club in Darien to raise funds to benefit the Y’s financial assistance program which enables young people achieve their potential, empower people of all ages to lead healthier lives, and strengthen the bonds of our community. We are so grateful to the community for championing this event in support of OUR Y’s mission.

A special thanks is made to the event sponsor Reynolds and Rowella. Their loyal support to our YMCA is greatly appreciated. We also would like to thank A.P. Construction, Absolute Logic, John Bauman, CT Custom Aquatics, Controlled Air, the Dempsey Family, Andy Diloreto, Diray Media, Docosource, Fairfield County Bank, Gregory & Adams, Dr. Kevin Craw, Masi Co., MCL Ventures, Paraco Gas, Skip Raymond, Tim & Laura Rorick, Selective Benefits and Wilton Hardware for their support or our cause.

A special thank you goes to Nick Lee for emceeing the event and conducting the live auction.

Thank you to all who donated items and the generous bidders who contributed to the success of the outing including their support to our program, ACES (All Children Experience Summer), an inclusion program that enables campers with disabilities to participate in all camp activities.

A big thanks to all the volunteers who contributed to making the event a success. The Golf committee made of the following volunteers Carol Johnson, Pam Kelley, Nick Lee, Chip Neuscheler, Frank Rowella, and Howard Steinberg, went above and beyond the call of duty as volunteers. They all selflessly gave their time, support, leadership and humor to help forward the mission of the Riverbrook Regional YMCA.

All of you are so appreciated; we couldn’t have done this without your support. Thank you, each and every one of you for making a difference in the lives of the youth of our community!
