Thunderstorms Taking Aim At Wilton

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A line of severe thunderstorms is heading for central and northern Fairfield County on Saturday evening, the National Weather Service said in a special weather statement.

The storm is moving east at 20 mph and bringing winds of 30 mph along with heavy rain, thunder and lightning.  

The storm will be near Danbury at 9:55 p.m., Ridgefield at 10 p.m., Wilton at 10:10 p.m., and Weston and Redding at 10:15 p.m., the weather service said.
