WILTON, Conn. - John Vitti, a resident of Wilton, died August 23. He was 66.
Vitti was born Oct. 19, 1946, in Settefrati, Italy, son of Alfredo Vitti and Francesca (Nizzardo) Vitti. He retired from Pitney Bowes after 37 years as a group leader.
Vitti is survived by his wife, Linda Jean (Bonis) Vitti; son, John Vitti (Elizabeth); brother, Antonio Vitti (Rina); sister, Rita De Rubeis (Giovanni); three grandchildren; and a great grandson. He was predeceased by his parents; and daughter, Jennifer Lynn Vitti.
Calling hours are Monday, Aug. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 at St. Mary's Church, 566 Elm St., Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
