David Bruce Spencer of Avon Street was arrested after officers pulled over him over for operating a defective motor vehicle, police said.
He was charged with weapons in a motor vehicle, criminal use of FM or electronic device, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana.
After conducting the stop, officers smelled burned marijuana on Spencer, which led to the discovery of the substance, police said.
The stun gun was in plane sight in the vehicle, police said.
Spencer was released on $100 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.
