The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of upcoming double-lane closures on the Hutchinson River Parkway. The Department says that double lane closures are scheduled for the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound between Exit 23 (Mamaroneck) and Exit 26 (Interstate 287) in the Westchester County towns of Scarsdale and Harrison with traffic diverted to the right shoulder. There will be lane closures on I-84 for an extended period of time Dutchess and Putnam counties. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that there will be single-lane closures on the interstate westbound between exit 58 (Ludingtonville Road) and exit 52 B/A (Taconic State Parkway) beginning on Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Towns of East Fishkill and Kent. Crash Causes I-84 Delays
This story has been updated. An off-the-road crash of a commercial truck caused heavy delays on a stretch of I-84 early Sunday evening, Oct. 20. The crash happened westbound east of Exit 61 (Route 311) in Putnam. Recovery was expected to take up to five hours, state police said. "Expect heavy delays," state police said. A series of lane closures have been scheduled for I-95 in Westchester, according to the New York State Thruway Authority.
